Betsy Cole

Artist Statement

Betsy Cole paints in watercolors, oils and acrylics. Betsy is best known for vibrant, fun and bold color. Her use of color and design bring to the canvas an unusual combination of both realism, abstract, and whimsy. No matter whether a barn is pink or red, a cow purple or brown, the observer of her art gets lost in the delight and depiction of the subject matter. Betsy also paints watercolor portraits of dogs and other animals.

Betsy has shown and sold her work in both Canada and the United States. Betsy and her husband live on Anna Maria Island, Florida and spend the summers on Georgian Bay, Canada.
