Artist Statement

Painting on location is a pleasure and creating a good painting is an extra bonus. I enjoy capturing the vivid colors of Florida scenes that are fast disappearing.
Jack is a signature member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society. He studied at the Maryland Institute of Art and with many noted watercolorists. He teaches Plein Air painting at the Longboat Key Center for the Arts and gives workshops at many locations around the country.
A civil engineer by profession, Jack and his wife divide their time between Florida and Maryland.
